Since moving to the US when I was 12, I have lived 5 cities and 4 states. The constant change in environments imposed great challenges for me to forge a clear identity…but hey, who actually reads this anyway 🙃

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that this isn’t a platform to showcase anything to anyone, but merely a space for self-reflection. Those of us who are passionate about what we do feel that we owe it to ourselves to keep a record of our own growth 🌱

Emotional design

We crave good experiences. It isn’t just human nature, it’s a survival trait embedded in our biology 🧬 Furthermore, emotionally charged events persist much longer in our memories and are recalled with greater accuracy 🎯 Imagine a world where we aren’t able to consciously repeat positive experiences but keep falling for negative ones, we’d absolutely be doomed 🚨

The power of imagination

Pure empathy is hard to come by. We understand the intentions of others more easily when we have lived through similar experiences ourselves 👯‍♀️ As a choice architect nudging users toward certain decisions, my creative tendencies & vivid imagination have helped me bridge the gap between my world and the realities of others 🦄

The conservation of complexity

We seek simplicity. But overly simplified designs often leave out the essence and the possibility for more ↘️ Complex applications and systems, on the other hand, always produce enough permutations to advance technologies and societies in unimaginative ways 🔥
